GST Invoice Total Calculator
Add up several lines at different slabs into one clean invoice summary.
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
Type of Supply
Fill in quantity and rate for at least one item to total the invoice.
How the calculation works
Multiple items, multiple slabs: each group is taxed at its own rate, then everything sums into one payable figure.
- Per slab
Σ Taxable values × Slab ÷ 100 = slab GST - Totals
Σ Taxable + Σ All GST = Grand total
Worked example
Stationery worth ₹8,000 (18%) and exempt-rate printed books ₹4,000 (0%) on one invoice.
You enter
Items @18%₹8,000
Items @0%₹4,000
You get
Total taxable value₹12,000.00
CGST+SGST from 18% items₹1,440.00
Grand total₹13,440.00
Important points to keep in mind
- Keep slabs separate in your books — your HSN summary and returns need them split anyway.
- A mixed invoice still needs every item's own HSN code and rate on its line.
- This tool groups identical rates automatically, matching how return tables expect data.
Frequently asked questions
Can one invoice have different GST rates?
Yes — common in retail. Each line shows its own rate and tax; only the totals merge at the bottom.
How many lines can an invoice have?
No legal limit. Very large B2B invoices usually go through e-invoicing systems which handle bulk lines fine.
